oval form with acanthus and dart rim, the handles formed as winged classical female figures, the high dome cover surmounted by a cast finial modelled as a drunken bacchanal group, the oval stand with rosette and acanthus rims, on four lion mask embellished scrolling paw feet, all sections engraved with griffin and anthemion scroll friezes, detachable liner.
